SARL MASSE

Lead times

A three-year wait. That is not a flaw.

It is a decision we have owned since 1996, and the reason our projects still look like something ten years on.

Why it is slow, and why it will stay that way.

We would rather disappoint on the date than on the result.

We are a small family business and we chose to stay one. Every project is run by one of the two of us, from the first bucket of earth to the last joint. That puts a hard limit on how many sites we can carry in a year.

We could have hired to absorb the demand. But a crew you no longer watch work is quality you can no longer guarantee. We would rather disappoint on the date than on the result.

So we tell the truth on the first call: here is where we stand, here is when we could start. It is up to you to decide whether that works. Many of our clients wait — and we make sure it is worth it.

The order book

Where we stand, honestly.

An indicative order of magnitude, for larger projects. Small jobs and urgent repairs can sometimes be fitted in sooner: the only way to know is to call us.

Estimator

How soon could we start?

Three questions, one honest answer. This is not a quote and commits you to nothing: it is the ballpark we would give you on the phone.

An indicative estimate, based on simple rules we stand behind — not an algorithm. Only a phone call gives a real date.

How it works

From your call to the end of the project.

  1. Day 1

    You call, we answer

On the phone we tell you straight away whether the project is for us and roughly when we could be free. No sales meeting needed for that.

  2. Within a few weeks

    We come and look

Nothing replaces standing on site: seeing the wall, the ground, the access, the real state of the building. The visit is free and commits you to nothing.

  3. After the visit

Detailed quote and a proposed date

A quote you can actually read, item by item, with a realistic start date. If we are not the right people for the job, we will say that too.

  4. The wait

    You are in the book

We get back in touch as the date approaches, and we tell you if anything shifts — in either direction. You should not have to chase us.

  5. The build

    We start, and we finish

Once we are on it, we stay on it. No site left open for two years with three visits a season: that has never happened here.

Our advice

How to give yourself the best chance.

  • 01

Call early, even without final plans

Being in the book commits you to nothing. What costs you is calling once the deed is signed and the work was meant to start next month.

  • 02

Be open to splitting the work

A large project can often start with earthworks or getting the building watertight, leaving the finishes for later. It moves forward, and it lets us fit you in sooner.

  • 03

    Think about the season

At altitude, winter closes working windows. An outdoor project starting in spring moves far faster than one launched in November.

  • 04

    Tell us your real constraints

A rental date, a permit about to expire, a family moving in: if we know about them, we take them into account when ordering the work.

Take a date now, decide later.

A ten-minute call is enough to know whether we are the right people — and to put you in the book ahead of the rest.
